As the Rebbe says, today we have a new paradigm to understand reality – previously we could only understand reality in terms of power – God was a king, we his sometimes faithful, other-times unfaithful subjects – intentionally the entire paradigm of dictatorship was removed from reality – God is not seen as a king, for we have no reference point to the very notion of dictatorship which is abhorrent in any event – but here is the modern technologically advanced paradigm – you see, power is a very very very old fashioned idea – for today, a tiny atom contains more power than all the armies of the world using say spears etc.

 

 

Imagine that, people trained millions of human hours on the most powerful weapons which something invisible can eliminate them all simultaneously.

 

So power is no more what it was once thought to be.

 

People saw power as force.

 

The greater the force, the better the ability for one side.

 

But the truth is, today power has been transformed to technology.

 

Without going into the details, there are bombs infinitely more intelligent, powerful and destructive than atomic weapons, using basic technology.

 

So the new power, is the power to harness information in a mechanism which is useful.

 

To do this, two things are necessary, the first is technology.

 

Now technology is only a hardware, as we know.

 

Your hardware is the space in which your operating system, the true technology exists.

 

In other words, it’s not the hardware; it’s the mind that can conceive of what to do with it, that can transform any app into any imaginative power.

 

Now let’s redefine reality.

 

Once upon a time, generals were seen as heroes; today Steve Jobs, Bill Gates are the heros; people who used information usefully.

 

Similarly, we are all operating systems, hardwares, capable of downloading software.

 

Quite simply, God is an infinite app developer.
