as long as we have an ego, our potentiality, our possibility to get angry, hence lash out, hence be cruel, vicious and truly monstrous has not been annihilated – the proof being, that people are born compassionate and only humans become monstrous, for animals protect their life or survival related instincts, but having no ego don’t become bullies / monsters
