As I heard from Leible Wolf, the Friedikeh Rebbe said: "it used to be, life was like a train between two cities, it can go north or south" – in other words, going back even just fifty years, people had very similar values – you dated, got married, followed laws etc. – some were bigger, some were less religious – "today, as we approach the final destination, its like a train coming into the city, hence there are so many different stops" (until here, is the Friedikeh Rebbe’s example – I would like to add) and the purpose of this is TO CHOOSE!
