As crazy as it sounds, as hard as it truly is, the fact is this, that wonderful loving heart you were born into is actually a menace – “but why would you say that?” “don’t you yourself always teach, how great love is?” – the difference is as follows: imagine a child driving a car – suddenly, the same vehicle, lacking common sense is a danger – similarly, as long as we are run by our emotions, no matter how beautiful they are, we are a menace both to ourselves and society; drug addicts on the whole are very sweet people, but their emotional addiction to pleasure, causes them not only to God-forbid kill themselves quite literally, but also 80% of theft is drug related; so their brain is the slave of their emotions – the very hardships – true difficulties, pains, abuse etc. in life, are those things that shut down our happy-go-lucky state – and in the fear that ensues, our mind learns how to protect oneself – in that state of security, once one feels secure, then and only then, can they start driving responsibly – after all, there is a reason you don’t let children drive.
