Are You Repsonsible

There are amazingly only two forces that exist – as the Alter Rebbe says – there is the force of love / desire which governs all out thoughts FOR – speech and actions FOR the attainment

Then there is the force of fear, which govern all our thoughts against, trying to prevent the attainment – (likewise speech and actions)

Obviously, generally speaking, a human and animal, in fact, every plant, angel, demon, all strive to attain pleasure and not attain pain – which of-course is biologically hardwired – So for me pleasure is based on say a chemical high, an emotional high, even a soul high (i.e. goodness and kindness) and likewise in the reverse, pain would be a painful feeling, it may include prevention of damage to whom I love, which as it probably includes myself, hence fear of shame, loss etc.

However, amazingly though these two emotions govern every single one of the behaviors of every living being, nonetheless none of these are truths.

You know, they have programed robots today that create logical deductions – for example, they have programed little robots to follow one another and eventually they end up going in a line.

So these, namely the drive toward pleasure and the fear of pain, are simply logical inferences based on the premise.

But as the premise itself is prewired (for technically there is no reason I should feel pleasure nor pain from any of the above; they are at most simply hardwired reactions, either psychological, emotional, biological or spiritual) hence we must say that none of it really is true (for truth is that which is absolute – and anything which is hardwired like creating a computer, though it may have great mechanical computational abilities certainly has no regard for truth.)

So truth stands in its own paradigm – above, though not necessarily beyond, for if truth is truth, then as the Alter Rebbe states, it is the central pillar which combines all realities.

As the sages of Kabbalah state “There is no unity (something Einstein in vain searched for his entire life) without truth/Torah.”

Truth can only come from the source of reality (much as computer engineer can tell you infinitely more than a computer can tell you about a computer.)

And the source revealed His truth.

I claim no wisdom, rather after decades of searching and having thank-God the skills to do the research in original both ancient as well as modern (from the great Chassidic masters) texts, the following is the truth:

You see – it is true that we absolutely don’t exist – It is true that our reality is relative (which as Einstein who discovered the theory of relativity explained reality to be a perception) however to us our perception of our existence is real.

This was intentional.

For truth desires that we should (though not absolute, but real enough, as Einstein said “Reality is an illusion albeit a very persistent one”) so truth desires our existence.

This is really the reason why parents give birth.

My child is imbued with my love, which in fact creates his or her personality (as seen by children lacking love, as in the famous studies in Romanian orphanages, which had no self-regard nor regard for anything) Yet it is that very being that independently loves itself hence sees itself as independent that I love.

So to begin with creation is fundamentally an act of birthing.

Then exactly like in the paradigm of a parent, the creator desires for the child to learn how to become proud of his or herself.

For this reason he takes a backseat, ever watching but not interfering, for ultimately it is the parent’s desire that the child should be able to claim credit.
