Are we all addicts?!

Rabbi Twerski, one of the greatest experts on addiction, writes: we are all addicts! an addiction is being unable to stop oneself from engaging in a pleasurable activity – and that’s the truth, as soon as we taste anything pleasurable, whether it’s fame or fortune, sex or drugs, we become addicted to it! – unless, yes, UNLESS! we ONLY DECIDE TO DO WHAT’S GOOD, and hence, even if things give us pleasure, they are not the cause of our actions, only RESULTS! for in this mechanism, our addictions doesn’t override our soul’s desire for a meaningful positive life!
