Another way of seeing life is through the all-encompassing three sides Kabbalah teaches, we find, or place ourselves in

The first side we can call the liberal side: open, unconditionally loving, but the problem is, that together with the liberal side, comes a delusional side, lacking responsibility, lacking the fact that another side exists

This is the side of fear: hence anger / resentment, hence jealousy; in this side, many many people exist – they coexist with others, not out of love, but only out of survival – their lives feel not pleasurable, but rather are a living burden – they consciously fear people – who in their experience are harsh, merciless – and in their effort to protect themselves, they build defenses that can withstand the invasion of Normandy – obviously such a life is not fun, and likewise people then become bitter, angry and jealous; this is why there are bullies, antisemites, terrorists, radicals – who supposedly are for some cause, but in reality are using their so called ridiculous causes, as tools to demean others

But finally, there is the truth, for though the world may not be as rosy as we would like it to be, though there is ego and hence evil, there is God – when we humbly decide simply to follow God, we are assured of a life filled both with internal hence external security
