Animals are simply pursing instinctual pleasure and staying away from instinctual pains

Pride and shame relate to our standing in humanity
When someone’s standing is denigrated a fivefold process occurs
One they begin to want to take revenge against the perpetrator
Two they want to take revenge is in such a way that they are not God forbid instinctually hurt or further shamed
Three: As such they externalize their hatred against those whom they can shame or hurt, namely those who will not hurt them or shame them back
Four: Furthermore they justify their aims to themselves AKA Arab claims of Jews stealing land as well as Nazis ridiculous claims of whatever, there are no words to rationalize their propoganda
Finally they will do whatever they can to hurt denigrate another
