Anger is a sign of maliciousness (for like when you wish to slap a mosquito because it makes you angry, so unlike the need to say kill a fly; with the mosquito you feel a pleasure in vengeance) and maliciousness is a sign of an affront to your dignity/ self-esteem /self-image, which in actual fact means to your ego
