I just had an epiphany – I am an addict!
In fact, as Rabbi Dr. Twersky, one of the foundational medical doctors into addiction says, all people are addicts!
It’s just that our addictions are different.
All addictions are inherently the same – the desire to repeat a pleasurable phenomena.
However, my addiction is spiritual – and to cure my addiction, for any addiction puts you on a one-track… and the world is not one-tracked! it is multiple responses to different scenarios! – So any one-track is off the beaten track! – hence, I need to let go of my desire!
