In the beginning God had a dream
In this dream you would exist
In this dream you would be born into a world that had a memory of God, but the belief that no one should be forced into any belief.
As the natural instinct of your body would lead you to seek pleasure in any way you could get it (drugs, sex, money, fame etc.) eventually you would see how meaningless all these predilections are.
Then you would seek to discover the meaning of life.
At some point, you would be amazed that there truly is a God, an all-encompassing loving being.
You would fall in love.
However the spiritual reality also goes according to a system (and love is an emotion, not a system).
So the system of spirituality is as follows:
It works in a rotzu-vshuv, ying and yang, inspiration and application approach.
As you enter the realm of Chassidus (Jewish mysticism) you will discover many many many pearls of inspiration, but for your life to be meaningful, you will need to apply them.
