All the facts, as a friend of mine, truly a genius, Yossi Banishevitz told me, “everything I know is because I ask one question – What are the facts?”

 

So the facts, as they say, “The truth hurts” but better to live in a prickly reality which you can change; than to live in a delusion, which you won’t!

 

The facts are varied, of course, based on what the subject matter is, but here are some of the more important subject matters:

 

God – God is not beyond our reality – if he made, sustains and continually rejuvenates it, he must be very much at home; however, as Chassidus teaches, his desire is, that we should transform both ourselves and the world, in making his presence – compassion, love, truth, integrity – fully felt here on earth!

 

People – we are composites: if we look at the facts, we see both incredible beauty and incredible depravity and everything in-between – the facts must boil down, as the Rambam teaches, “Man has the power to turn to good or evil; his power effectively is desire – if we resolve unconditionally to be good, God will create that this is who we will be!
