- We all have a perception – which includes self
- In every perception we make, we always (automatically) perceive it either as a. good (usually – “for me”) b. bad (usually – “for me”) c. neither
- We all have an ego – to understand a human must include the spiritual components – in fact, there is nothing physical to a human (as mentioned, even the perception of self – relating to our body, is actually a non-physical idea based on data “download”) These spiritual forces include primarily five factors – from below to above – The lowest spirit that exist in us is the ego – it convinces us whenever we succeed (in anything – even in giving ourselves any pleasure – whether eating etc.) that this proves “we are Great!” (woe to the person whose ego creates not only the perception of greatness, but the perception of “greater!” – such a person will find that every other person is their enemy – any good they have is stolen (from them! and certainly anY pride – for their ego, has told them that “They! not anyone else is Greatest!” – this is the cause for all evil – “My delusional ego can’t handle you” – NOw as all desires creates thoughts, hence as my desire now is to destroy and certainly demean you… (e.g. Nazis, Arabs, terrorists etc.) hence the mind comes up with rationalizations… – these rationalizations are genuine visions of your evil (for everyone actually contains some ) but it appears to me, “You are so cruel and vile that I must do something!” (which of-course leads me back to the original intent – criticizing = shaming) (The way to overcome ego is to think of every stupidity – everything shameful in your past.) b. We then have an animal – this in a sense is who we are most accustomed to, as it states, “a person is born like an animal” (we are hardwired like every animal to seek life (survival, hence when in danger, anxiety causes us to flight, or in desperation fight – occasionally freeze) We also are attracted to biochemical pleasure and biochemical pains (the former is what we love, the latter what we fear.) As a human we have (c.) a third unique spirit called a rational brain – now like your computer though it has incredible genius it is usually an expression of your animal (it is used to attain your desires.) d. We also have a good angel who seeks to improve us and e. Finally our essence – the source where everything comes from is actually G-d.
- Now the goal of life is that instead of our ego or animal, even our mind (as it is highly skewed toward the lower dimensions) it should be our SOUL Using our mind; – in order to do this a. we must reveal our soul – the way we bring it from the subconscious to the conscious is by telling ourselves that soon – very soon – when MoshiAch (the messiah) comes, we will literally see G-d! (now as this is the soul’s desire – like telling a kid he’ll get a candy, he jumps into action) b. obviously, we have had to have developed self-discipline – but that’s a whole other…
