Driven by their compassion, love.
Driven by their selfishness: sex, recognition, pleasure; avoidance of pain, shame.
Driven by their hurt self pride, hence all the evil that exists; for, the easiest way to restore pride is not by lifting oneself up, which takes a lot of effort, but by shaming, hurting, demeaning another – yes its true, evil exists, and all who do the above mentioned three things (shaming, hurting, demeaning) don’t do so out of love, but for this reason!
