All holiness that includes ego is far, perhaps infinitely lower/worse than unholiness, with humility!

You see, life is very simple, but very mixed up, pretend you have two waters; hot and cold, and say cold is refreshing, and hot, God-forbid scalding – now, when these waters are clearly marked, life is good; when they get mixed up, life is messed up – effectively, this was the great sin of Adam, for man is attracted to pleasure; but as Kabbalah teaches us, Adam sinned, for instead of relying on God, to discern what is good and bad; he decided to taste the forbidden fruit – it was HIS will, as we all have this tendency to pursue all pleasures, and figure out the long hard way what is good and what is bad – Kabbalah teaches, Adam looked into the portal of evil and as man desires pleasure, his very look contaminated his soul, brought light into darkness until this very day, yes today! when we, with God’s help will extract the good from the bad, discern which is cold good water, and hot bad water

Effectively, the way to untangle ourselves, is to discern what was it that Adam saw – many might not like what I am writing, but no way to get out of a mess without identifying the rot, and only then can man cut the gangri, and become once again new, as a fresh sheet, soft as a baby skin, pure as snow white – here it goes, I once went to a mikvah in a organization that is known for ego, their entire learning of Torah is for ego, and as I entered their building I suddenly understood what Adam saw, Adam looked into their cult, that pretends to be holy, but their holiness is egotistical (to make the story more interesting, I went to the mikvah and I was shocked, this wasn’t a mikvah, it was a roman-bath, gone were towels lying around; two special mivkahs for gedoilim/delusions and the main one, literally, reminds one of the roman baths, and I felt, as the sages teach, “toivel vsheretz byiodoi,” one is trying to purify oneself within the impurity, something which can never work, so I never went back) the same thing; it is ego that attaches itself to religion; so instead of the religion making people humble, kind, soft, compassionate; revealing their Godly soul, what it does, it covers it up! it makes them egotistical, hence ambitious, hence resentful of anyone who rains on their rainbow! – it is the source that created the holocaust, for the arrogance of a German nation believing it should be superior, created their rage against their inferiority, and manifested in cold blooded murder – yes, it’s simply this, all holiness that includes ego is far, perhaps infinitely lower/worse than unholiness, with humility!
