After everything is said and done, in the end of the day, the bottom line always remains, if we are the center of our morality, not only shall we fail to be moral, it is our very morality which makes us immoral! for the notion of our current Morality leads to arrogance which is the source of all that is evil, so we have no choice but to be wise and follow God
