After 50,00 blogs, I can say I have had a discovery (or two) but this goes to the core – you see, why is it when we are young we expect congruency – now I believe the Rebbe would say, we are innately moral, which of-course is true, but here is a psychological (a darker assessment) perhaps we have been mollified (you see the toddler doesn’t expect congruency but to get his way) now the parent must mollify the toddler so a new perception of right vs. wrong creeps in – now the ego can accept that we all need to be right, but our desire that others should be, may be based on the fact that otherwise “why should I?”
