According to the Baal Shem Tov (extrapolating a bit) we all will travel through the time-machine – the time-machine is the sequence of experiences that lead us from one paradigm to the ultimate paradigm – it goes like this: first comes darkness, which we foolishly think is reality – than comes the feeling that reality is dark – then comes the desire to see the light – then the light is revealed to you – but this revelation is really a gift from above – many people who the light has come to them report feeling a year or so, euphoric understanding of truth, which then gets taken away – then we have an intense personal journey, for we now have lost the euphoric feeling, but retain the wisdom of truth – so what’s right now, is we need to put in our effort – it’s not a joy, but a mission! – and that’s the goal!
