A succinct guide to Jewish mysticism

By zevi770 · April 7, 2014

Passed on from Mosses only to the greatest scholars of every generation

Held secret for thousands of years

And revealed, as the messianic dawn is upon us, by the Baal Shem Tov

This wisdom, if anything, can be described, as not seeing things in our world, but energy

Think of energy as temperatures

Cold is bad, really bad

Heartless, unfeeling, insensitivity

Warm is good, real good

Compassion, sharing, caring

But hot is when ones ardor, even for the good removes one from the dimensions of reality

And so instead of expressing

Compassion, sharing, caring

They are simply gun-ho about an alternative reality

Now all energy must have a source

The source for cold, is fear

Fear causes us to protect ourselves

We erect a barrier around our heart, not allowing others in

The source for hot, is love

Like the absolute naïve trust of a child

The unconditional love

Sweet but dangerously naive

But then there is warmth, a mix between the hot and cold state, but leaning towards the beauty of warmth

When we humbly accept that we humans react emotionally.

For us to act lovingly

A higher wisdom beyond our emotions

An infinite supreme understanding

A compassionate loving God!

In the Bible

The mission of warmth is set out

It’s called Mitzvos

Succinctly

Always increase your goodness and kindness!
