Chassidus teaches, we gain pleasure precisely from that which is different, hence, a talking parrot makes talking humans entertained, however pleasure is a funny thing, for we lose our objectivity if we find something is pleasurable, as we just desire its pleasure; hence we objectify it; similarly, Chassidus teaches, that men and women, precisely as they are different, receive pleasure from each others company; however, the problem with this instinctive pleasure is, that if it’s not pleasurable anymore, we divorce; hence, the goal is to realize, the union in marriage of men and woman is not based on how it makes me feel – “give a wise man wisdom and he will increase the wisdom!” Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
