60 Kabbalah Truths

-
You are God, as Your body needs a life, and all life needs life, so there must be a first.
-
We are all the same, for as there is one source, and we are all life, so it is literally a single Being.
-
A person is their opinions – this is called a worldview, which is what creates our unique differences.
-
The purpose of life is unity – this is why we are created differently, and we need each other for our individual talents and abilities!
-
Man and woman were created so 1. They could have children, 2. Man becomes grounded with a woman, c. Unity.
-
To love a child is to educate and lovingly discipline (as a child needs but doesn’t know boundaries.)
-
The best, if not only long-term educational technique is being a good role-model.
-
As we have many possible role-models, we are taught to role model God’s goodness.
-
In addition, in every generation God sends a prophet (who may not be recognized;) For those who seek to emulate God, can emulate the prophet.
-
In our generation, God sent Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn whose life was filled with unconditional love for everyone, and was awarded (the only religious leader) the Congressional Medal of Honor (given in the history of America to only 100 outstanding individuals.)
-
The law of reaction means, that the energy you put out, is the energy reflected.
-
The law of reaction works not only with others, but even with animals, plants, minerals, and as God is in truth completely humble with God.
-
Arrogance is the greatest curse, for you can never be happy, as you expect to get everything, and when you get “what is yours,” it brings you no joy.
-
Humility is the greatest quality, for not only does it cause joy, as you see everything as a gift; but it causes that another’s good fortune doesn’t make you jealous.
-
Jealousy is the greatest blight, for the jealous person thinks that everyones good fortune belongs to them.
-
Jealousy causes us not to desire the good another has; rather as it causes a hatred that they “took your good;” to destroy.
-
Jealousy is the cause of bullying, terrorism, antisemitism.
-
To overcome jealousy God gave us the gift of gratitude; and as the first thought in a day sets the rest, so when you wake up, you need to read a gratitude list.
-
Love is the attraction between a lover and what s/he loves.
-
As love is the desire to attain what we love, and as all desires are fundamentally addictions, hence those in love can only see what is “right.”
-
As when in love you can only see what is “light,” you are quite literally blinded.
-
As we are all born with an innate self-love, we cannot see what is wrong.
-
In order to see what is wrong in us, the Creator made it that the wrong we see in another is actually our own.
-
Everything you see was designed.
-
When you see what is wrong in another, if it irks you, it is because this is in you, and you must change.
-
If it doesn’t irk you, then it is; so you should help them.
-
We may never ever ever; ever may shame another!
-
Shaming is jealousy.
-
When you love someone, education is done respectfully, without shaming.
-
When you see a quality in another, you should try to emulate it.
-
When you see another who needs help, and you know how you can, it is because this is your personal Divine mission.
-
The Baal Shem Tov said, “A soul may come to earth, living sixty, seventy, eighty years, for the sole purpose to help another physically and certainly spiritually.”
-
Whoever has, must share.
-
Soon the Messiah – whose presence is felt through the many messianic miracles predicted, such as the return of the Jews to Israel (mentioned numerous times in the Bible and prophesies) is about to come.
-
We must balance our emotions, by on one hand feeling great joy and on the other hand great misery (we can be dancing that the messiah is about to come, and crying that he hasn’t.)
-
Too happy… leads to emotional outbursts; while too miserable leads both too depression and jealousy.
-
Your mind is in charge of your thoughts.
-
Your desire is in charge of your mind.
-
When you are afraid, you cannot think.
-
In order to calm down you must believe that everything God does is for the good.
-
A powerful transformational exercise the Baal Shem Tov taught is, “if you see the good in the bad, the bad turns to good.”
-
There is no circumstance that cannot actually be transformed.
-
Most of life is downloads.
-
Whenever we grow, which means, we have integrated a better pattern; a new lesson will emerge.
-
The ultimate intent of creation is, as the Creator loves you (who wouldn’t!!!) therefore, just as when we love someone we wish to offer our knowledge, wisdom, compassion, You are being led to seek!
-
Once you seek! the Creator will find!
-
As the Creator is infinite, so too will be your life changing lessons!
-
You should give all your money (after expenses) to charity, as all the Jewish great sages!
-
If this is too difficult, you should give 20% percent.
-
If this is too difficult, you should give 10%.
-
As all of your life consists of time, when you give charity, all the time spent making that money, gets spiritually transformed.
-
Whenever you think, speak or act positively, you positively effect.
-
Evil exists only to cause us to grow, for usually without pain, we don’t.
-
To prevent evil from causing our growth, humble yourself through reminding yourself of everything bad you have ever done!
-
However, to do good you must be joyous, so ask G-d to pardon you, and knowing he is forgiving, he immediately does.
-
Though God pardons you for whatever you should have done differently, nonetheless if you hurt a person you must get their pardon, for God cannot cause their heart to forgive (without taking away their freedom.)
-
When you end your day, you should review it and decide how it could have been better; for without being objective you don’t know yourself.
-
You should also decide how you wish to be tomorrow.
-
When you encounter medical questions, you ideally should ask a doctor who is a friend and just listen – when you encounter financial problems, you should ideally ask a businessman who is a friend and listen – when you encounter spiritual questions, you should go to a Chassidic Rabbi (schooled not only in Judaism but also mysticism) and listen (there are many on Chabad.org)
-
Last but not least, as the Rambam, one of histories greatest Rabbis and Doctors said “to prevent illness, eat healthy.”
