Exile is only so that through trial and error- trying out the heathen/secular cultures and discovering their errors we should fully, appreciate, love, enjoy, embrace, and revel in God’s

Wow Astronomers See More Planets Than Stars in Galaxy...

Now I had a debate with my wife a long time ago if there were more planets, as most people, I believed that there were only the amount the astronomers told us – Nine in our system (by the way Rabbi Yossi Banishevitz told me that when Moshiach will come a new planet will be discovered and a few years ago an extra planet in our solar system was) anyway she said that if there are around our sun by deduction there are elsewhere and of course being scientifically dogmatic I didn’t believe her.

Well the reports started to come out of a planet here and there and now this published in the respectable journal of Nature that there are actually more planets then stars, again more planets, probably five times as much, than stars.

So why didn’t the scientist figure out something so obvious, so much present, to be more present than everything else we see; and thats the answer.

Cause they couldn’t see it.

So everything must teach us a lesson in serving God

And here is the lesson, just cause you cant see something doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

The stupidity of psychology

A friend of mine studying to be a psychologist recently told me that Freud lived in a time of machines and hence intrinsically compared the body to a machine.

The entire psychiatry premise is the machine premise.

I spoke to a friend of mine, a psychiatrist, today, to asses whether someone’s kid had a certain disability and because this guy is honest he says there is no test to know.

Most of psychiatry he told me is simply guess work, as the many tests that there are which he needs to use to asses his patients actually contradict one another.

As I am translating from Toward a Meaningful Life the Rebbe says: “It is a matter of changing our perspective from “outside-in” to “inside-out.”

Instead of looking first at the outer layer then traveling inward we must learn to see the inner layer as our primary force.

Whamo, this is the fundamental mistake of psychiatry and the fundamental benefit of Jewish mysticism.

There are countless mental disturbances these days with literally hundreds of millions of people on anti depressants and other medication.

All of this is because people look from the outside in but looking the other way namely that life is a reaction to our emotions, which is a reaction to our mindset we can heal ourselves.

To being with may I recommend you read my book http://wp.me/P1wSrP-4O

But the summary is very simple, to live a happy life you must see that all is good (hence eliminating fear, for if you perceive anything negative you introduce the genesis of all mental disturbances namely fear) and furthermore you must love your fellow as yourself for the human craves harmony, people (right?) and the only way to do this is through giving unconditionally, and the only way to do this is through loving unconditionally which comes about through seeing a. your shared destiny with others and b. admiring their positive qualities.
