If we study, using our ego, meaning we bring along our preconception, we reject that which abrogates our ego; hence, we can never study, merely taste wisdom; but if we lose our ego, realizing that our preconceptions are wrong, then when we study the wisdom of truth, Kabbalah / Chassidus, we ingest every morsel, we imbibe every soul, we inculcate a true reality, versus one we are tied to, by dint of fear and stupidity
