10 Ways to Overcome ADD

May 7, 2025

1. Create a Daily Routine
Structure provides clarity. Set regular times for waking, work, rest, and prayer.

2. Break Tasks into Small Steps
Large tasks overwhelm. Divide them into manageable actions with short deadlines.

3. Use Visual Reminders
Sticky notes, whiteboards, color-coded lists — visuals help stay on track.

4. Limit Distractions
Keep your workspace clear. Use apps to block distracting websites or notifications.

5. Take Regular Movement Breaks
Short physical activity boosts focus. Stretch, walk, or do a quick chore.

6. Practice Mindfulness or Hitbodedut (Private Prayer)
Even 5 minutes a day of stillness helps train attention and connect to purpose.

7. Get Enough Sleep
Fatigue worsens symptoms. Aim for 7–9 hours of quality sleep.

8. Use Timers and Alarms
Set time blocks for tasks and breaks — it brings rhythm and helps avoid drifting.

9. Stay Nourished
Eat balanced meals, reduce sugar, and stay hydrated — brain function depends on it.

10. Ask G-d for Help
Say: “Hashem, help me use my energy for good and stay focused on my mission.”
