The Medrash teaches that once a king and his Entourage came to a town, each of the townspeople had the privilege of hosting – one person said “I’ll take the minister of agriculture, maybe I can get some more land” the other said “I’ll take the minister of commerce, maybe I can get a loan” and it was one wise person who said “I will take the king, for they all come and go, but the king remains”
