Day: September 18, 2020
If you wish to measure an ideology, measure it not by what it says it will do – measure it by what it has done! it is an infinitely more probable reality
Consider always the probability, that who you are friends with – may be the only!
Remember tonight / tomorrow and Sunday is Rosh Hashanah, the day where God will judge the fate of the world, and we evoke His love, by loving
By nature we have a self-love which is why we seek to expand.. whether this is the desire for recognition, perhaps perpetuality… but when we understand that our contractions are actually in order to allow for a new order of expansion, beyond our previous! we can make peace
The way we can tell who loves us – is how much time – non-related to personal gain – they spend with us
All that exists, consists of observers and observations – the interaction between the two, and the ultimate existence is the Creator of both, for the subsequent infinite growths
The only question that should determine all of our behavior, is – is it kind
Do you know that women have the ability to think of three things at the same time which means God has the ability to think of infinite things at the same time
Rebbe Mamer # 4
Yom Tov Shel Rosh Hashana
- When God first made the world – He gave unconditionally– however now when we blow the Shofar – as the Jew is sourced withing God, it caused a deeper Divine joy.
- Within every Jew is part of Adam’s soul.
- As Adam was born on Rosh Hashanah it likewise is every Jews’ birthday.
- The Alter Rebbe said, the first three chapters of Tanya on the Rosh Hashanah of the birth of the Tzemach Tzeddek – they begin with the fact that every Jew’s soul is given the ability (before she descends) to fulfill her soul’s mission – this is similar to the month of Tishrie (which enables us to fulfill our Divine mission.)
- As the entire purpose of Creation is for the Jew’s Avodah, hence all for the Jew’s Avodah is created.
- As the core will of God in creation is not even to bestow, rather for the Jew – therefore when the Jew realizes this, He fulfills God’s will.
- When Rosh Hashana comes on Shabbos then all the Avodah that is normally done, is done in a mechanism of joy and relaxed – which influences that the entire year should so be, until the day which will be only Shabbos!
