as a rabbi I probably reach, mainly through social media ,thousands of people a week and I noticed that particularly now, even though I would say at-least 90% ignore me, that I’m getting more “thank yous” – so I don’t know if it’s safe to assume that as people feel a little bit more in need, they can appreciate the human touch – which teaches us five very important things: the first is touch humans, even though you may not be in need – the second, as humans don’t appreciate what they have until they don’t have what they appreciate
