The fundamental western error – one of the greatest errors of judgment – in fact not totally germane to western (though perhaps somewhat more advanced) is how we see responsibility – western governments have been founded on the roman empire (in America as in Russia, an eagle is our symbol) the fundamental misconception is the right of the government… – and though the founding fathers wished to limit the power, even so, they did so within the framework of the government (in other words, the government had to ensure its own limits, and the rights in the constitution) the problem with this attitude is that it fundamentally assumes that the Government’s power is a right
