O.K. assuming this is true – which was the common belief until Darwin convinced us that as Higher apes we should really regress – is working for God leaving the materiel world?

Is working for God as many aesthetics of other religions remove themselves from the physical for the spiritual?

The truth is this is based on an erroneous understanding of God – many people see God as the spiritual but God is in fact more material than he is spiritual – for God is neither physical or spiritual both placing limits (for it would be one and not the other) rather as we have written about many times – and mentioned this was the primary teaching of the Lubavitcher Rebbe for over the past four years of his extraordinary final talks – God being infinite is the unique ability like an artist to use two colors on a canvas, painting a beautiful image, similarly both the material – AND ESPECAILLY SO – and the spiritual are two colors on which God uses to enlighten man.

This being the case, yes when we use the material for the spiritual we are one hundred percent working for God no less than when we use the spiritual.
