- submission to God, in other words where we do not question rather submit that God’s wisdom is greater than ours, his justice nobler than ours, his kindness being all encompassing and hence even includes sometimes what is difficult for us westerners namely being tuff for the sake of righteousness
- Gratitude, for only in constantly reminding ourselves of our numerous blessings (which is why Jews pray five times a day) can we overcome our innate jealousy of when others cause us to feel inferior by them having more stuff
- Understanding that from God’s perspective rich and poor, smart and stupid are all his agents to promote love, compassion and ultimately unity
